Clip not updating

I may be misunderstanding something, but when I add measures/notes, etc in the livescore editor, the associated clip does not update.  I have 'checked' the update live clips button in the options and it appears that something is happening but the clip is not updating.  What are the limitations here?  Can I start with a blank 1 measure clip, view it in the score editor and create on the fly from there?

Yes, but the main question is: Have you associated your Editor staff with a Live clip in the Live clip matrix? If not, the Editor won't know what clip to update.
